This week was a rollercoaster.. had to rush a couple of assignments too.. I will backdate all the CNY and all the festive photos..

EX Highnoon, Gao Hsiong, Taiwan

Really enjoyed the Taiwan Exercise, I was there for almost a month. I was really afraid of being alone initially because I was the only representative from my Unit. Luckily, made friends with all the others involved in this Exercise, the days were fun, it was a great experience overall !

This was where I used to sleep in at Heng Chun Camp. Looks like refuge camp hor. But yet its one of the best camps !! The other camps were worst !

Haven’t been able to post for quite some time. And some friends have been complaining that my blog is somewhat too inconsistent… Well, that’s good.. cause at least somebody has been reading it !

It’s not that I have nothing to post, but more to being to busy to post. Just had to cramp for 2 consecutive assignments this semester and because this year is a non examination year, things are getting hectic in the assignment area…

Saturday, 23rd September 2006
Went back to SIM to work on Mathematics for 3D Graphics. Was bad. Couldn’t catch anything. Left Lancer and Ken to do the thinking. Nothing else eventful I guess. Oh yah, watched the Red Devils match at Reading at the 501 kopitiam ( It’s 24 Hours now !) Concluded Darren Stretcher and Kieran Li-Ka-San equal horrible draws to weaker teams.

Even the ball gets scared of him.

Kieran (Li-Ka-San)Richardson is a disgrace. He can’t shoot, is selfish, tries hard to dribble, loses the ball and shows his ugly face.

Fletcher(Stretcher) just looks like a lost robot. Stiff and confused. Went on to see Man United fetch a draw after a penalty for reading thanks to a Neville Handball.

Sunday, 24th September 2006
Played Basketball with the guys at Hong Kah East CC in the morning. Nothing interesting really, just that we 5 all managed to make it, and Vincent had a bloodied nipple, after the opposition practiced his Wolverine Claw. I also sneaked into the Ladies very tactically, cause the hum-sup basketball just made its way inside(Heng, boh lang!). Went on for Dinner with Lydia at our new hangout.. yayaya.. the one with the BBQ crab. Sedap ! I’m addicted to it. Went on to rush my mathematics till 5 am in the morning. But made lots of progress! Finally understand !

Bad bad bad bad day! She left me. And this time she left me for good. I guess its all my fault. I never really cherished her. She almost left me a month ago.. yet I didn’t learn my lesson. But than again.. maybe she deserved better…

Tuesday and Wednesday, 26th & 27th September 2006
Was on MC for both days. Woke up feeling darn horrible and deaf in a ear. Went to see the doctor and he said I was heaty. Not enough hydration. Felt odd when I can’t hear things on my right ear. Was given a solution for the ear.. but didn’t help much leh.. somemore the solution so sticky and hot on the ear….

Watched my beloved Red Devils take on Benfica… Lucky for the win seriously.. Cristiano Ronaldo is playing well this season so far.. Well, or at least he fares better than the bumbling 2 of Utd ( see Sat, 23rd September) That’s 6 points for United !

It’s Weeheng’s Birthday ! Had a power packed busy day today ! First at work.. some student issues…. I shall not talk about it.. Than went on to chair a meeting for Project Management back in SIM.. followed up with Mahjong at home till 5 am in the morning.

Carried on doing my assignment at Ken’s Place, followed by Lunch at the Market.. forgot the market name.. Watch the Bah Kut Teh Hawkers skirmish among themselves… what a culture.. Leslie was complaining that the intestines were too raw. I thought ok ? Went back feeling sluggish as usual…. after lunch syndrome.. Took a break.. saw some funny clips on YouTube.. Found an Mp3 sung by myself on my notebook.. (recorded on 2004) haha.. funny.. Anyway.. proceeded to finish the project for the day. Went back home took a short nap. Had basketball in the evening at Boon Lay CC with Ryan, Rick, Shikun.. Won 5 consecutive matches continously.. until all too shag out…than lost.. subsequently, The next game ended prematurely.. because of a couple of elbows and ah… mere bickering… Proceeded on home.. Took a break before catching the Red Devils beat the Magpies, 2-0 !

Was sick yesterday and was on MC. Still feeling rather listless.. but no choice, work is work.

Back on sunday, my beloved Devils emerge victorious against Fulham. 5 Goals to 1, although Fulham is a weak team this season, and most of the goals were very tyco , but classy movement and co-ordination were what was lacking last season.

Although Rooney is still the typical English fat bloke, and Scholes the Albino, Ronaldo the young punk & Giggs the wolverine-wannabe, they still have lots to offer as one of the most attacking threats in the Premier League.

And fortunately, The new Utd Sponsors may look a bit obiang on their jerseys, but in overall, the new united red jersey looks so retro and vintage, real NICE !

Anyway.. currently at home and feeling reaaaal hungry. Sort of missed Ju Ju Hokkaido Hotpot at Paradiz Center. Trust me, taste real good. But by the time I reach there from home now.. I think can start swatting mosquitoes. May have to settle for Liang Seah Street Steamboat instead. It’s open till 5 am !

Kaira Gong
The girl can sing ! Seen her in real person before and I was standing less than 3m facing her for about 15 minutes… she looks very …. normal. But well plus points for looking good in the parade, the first costume looks bad though.. but queen status ? nah…

NDP 2006
Caught the Parade on TV. First time in 8 years to ever watch a National Day Parade. Did it probably cause I wanted to see how the kids fare. Performance wise was pretty great, but as all NDP Parade segments, the Defense forces marching in and parade portion was just…… draggy…. And of course.. the kids were great ! Other than a couple of tired faces.. and a couple of un-sync movements during closeup.. guess they were splendid.

IPPT/RT Defaulter
Went back to CMPB yesterday for orders for missing RT. Stated my reason and proved to them that it was a system error. The Investigation Officer was at a loss of words. Obviously, it was so much of a mistake on their side. But as usual, SAF being SAF… trying to minimise unneccssary work… (well, its problematic taking off a charge from their system) Still carried on with the charge, but a reprimand. which hardly had one… but I was still pretty unhappy of getting a charge and wanted to challenge the charge, but before I can say anything the DO ranted on, ” Do you plead guilty ? If not, the case will be adjourned to Court Martial Center on a seperate session.” Well heck. Would be damn dumb to have to go for a seperate session, and having higher stakes, when I practically was not punished at all. Anyway, still think the military discipline system is full of crap, and should be done by an external organisation and not SAF themselves. Darn unfair to the soldiers.

Guo Mei Mei
Just saw a video on YouTube that day, just found out that Guo Mei Mei was actually discovered on a Singapore Variety Show by Quan Yifeng and Zhong Qin. This was long before they had the faceless album cover thingy. Pretty sweet young thing she used to be, although she had problems with her nerves. But caught another video of her in a taiwan concert or something like that.. she really needs some fattening ! But still, the song 不怕不怕 is still an irritating ring to my ears.

Mi Lu Bing
I never ever watched an episode of Singapore Superband, but sort of caught the name milu bing from one of the students. Watched a couple of their videos. Honestly speaking, their vocals on ballads are mediocre. But the rendition and creativity is really SHOW material especially their item 小微. Nevertheless, guess they deserve to win Superband competition. But surviving in the industry ? Maybe better than that Rat Face runner up of Singapore Idol and that 7-11 poster boy.

Audition SEA
Was pretty bored on saturday so caught myself trying on online game called Audition SEA, its a dancing game, that uses the keyboards much, something like PS’s Bust-A-Groove… Was pretty excited over the game for the first few hours, but.. that was really for the first few hours.. there’s no growth in the game… and that is enough to make me stay with the game.

Interesting piece of information I recieved in email…

There was a study done where a control group of 100 people were divided into two. - 50 people watched a very funny, tears-of laughter type movie. - 50 watched a very sad and tears of compassion type movie. At the end of the sessions researchers collected the “happy tears” and the “sad tears” with eye droppers. They found that “happy tears” are made up of brine…salt water and not a great deal else. However the “sad tears” were found to contain the very same chemicals and enzymes that are found in tumours, ulcers and other such lumps and bumps and sicknesses through out the body. This test concluded that the body, when crying in sadness etc is literally flushing out all of the toxic-chemicals that accumulate and are a part of the sadness /heart ache experience. Therefore if one holds back those tears, those toxic-waters will find somewhere else to deposit themselves…..and prolonged lack-of-crying-release will guarantee that the body will accumulate a huge amount of internal pollution and toxicity that should have been released through the tears……..is it any wonder that the eyes sting so much when we hold back our tears?”

Ta bo leh tahan. Had the kids running cricles on me during soccer today. Damn I hate the hot sun. Practically almost melted. After 10 minutes, felt like hell. The briyani I ate earlier on didn’t help either. My shoes broke down a 2nd time. Sigh * think really have to get a new pair… any sponsors ??

OH MY GAWD ! Now the 209 people found my blog also ! Hey.. Shoo shoo.. If you all start viewing my blog, how am I gonna complain to all my friends about how naughty you all kids are ! Looking at the tagboard worries me. Really worries me. Sigh *

Had a tiring day today. Now the kids know of this blog too. May have to tear this down anytime. Just look at the tagboard. Scary. Had CCA today again. Was a massive headache cause there are so many groups to handle. Played football with GZ and co. Leg is still hurting a bit, but moreorless 80% recovered. Played badly though, didn’t score a goal at all, which is crucial for me as I’m always upfront. Don’t know but feel pretty out of form. Maybe slightly phobia due to leg injury. Just came back from dinner with GZ. 1.40am ! Late dinner huh ? Was chatting abt certain things. He seems quite against the idea of me getting a flat. He does make sense though. Buying the flat is easy, but the renovation may kill me. Sigh * $, $, $. Always not enough. Want to settle down also need $ ! Government should come out a scheme to encourage couples to settle down so as to increase the lion city’s population. Anyway, have heard the National Day Song so many times, cause the kids are always playing it. Although it really irritates me, but.. its a nice song. I will not be involved in NDP actual day. Good and Bad. Good because means more time for Lydia, Bad because really want to see the kids perform cause they put in so much effort. To be frank, quite proud of the kids, as all of them are my students, and I feel for them, especially all the sweat and effort they have put in. Really gives a real warm feeling. But better not go on to much about this, cause I believe some of them will start to see this blog soon, and I don’t want to sound too emotional =-p
