Singapore Zoo
Be warned. This is gonna be another picture packed post. Seems like I’m very free hor nowadays ? Been out with Lydia to the zoo today.. So these are some of the pictures…
Singapore Zoological Gardens. 22 Nov 2006
Promised Lydia to go to the zoo sometime ago, so since we both are on leave.. made a trip down… unfortunately there was a downfall.. but it wouldn’t spoil our mood …..
Parrots: Up & Down
The Pelican
This emu really very obedient. You call him and he will pose for you.
I like this emu. He really poses everytime you call his name. He’s not the bit camera shy.
Digging for gold ?
Otters.

Mousedeer. Neither a mouse nor a deer.

The greater kudu posing for us.

Camel, new Camel brand logo maybe ?
Lydia’s favourite Giraffe. I heard it can kill a lion with its kick.
Lydia insisted that if we don’t see the giraffe don’t go home.. what’s so interesting ?? Normal only mah..
This cute creature so guai.. he really guai guai pose for me to snap.
But he’s got a bad hairday though..
I love this thing he is so small.. probably the size of a chihwahwa.. and looks like a monkey.. he was climbing all over the place and when I go close to it.. it just sits nicely for me to take photos of him.
What a sight ! The zebras were feeding. Their stripes are really vibrant !
So lazy this Wart Hog. Eat also must sit down.
We spend sometime getting the attention of the wart hog. Damn lazy and smelly.. but super cute.
Rhino’s rather sleepy eh ?
Too bad.. the rhino really looks pretty listless.. never made any effort to move out of its comfy zone.
I’ve got bad breath !Watched a short segment of the elephant show.. I think I watched it 18 years ago. Looks pretty much the same.
Hungry hungry hippo!
Mother and child
Look like right ?
Baby Kangaroo, also very guai.
See he poses just next to me.
Kangaroo & me
Kissing the dummy
Kangaroo’s cousin, Wallaby ! Looks a bit blur eh ?
The Australia Outback!
We were at the Outback area and the kangaroos and wallaby’s were free to roam. The kangaroo was a darling and was very still and followed me around. But whenever Lydia was around he would walk away.. hahaha.
These are the boys from the movie Madagascar.. Those that were dancing in the jungle. They are really cute.
Puma: Handsome cat.
Lion’s Den
White Tiger, majestic…
We were trapped in the shelter of the White Tigers due to the heavy rain, was there taking photographs with them.. looking at them eat and shit. And till today I actually learnt, that there is no african tiger, they are all asians. Ever wonder why in Madagascar there are no tigers ?
Polar Bear
Penguin
Makes me think of the show Happy Feet !
The polar bears have been in Singapore for some time. But if you notice the green patch on the back, is actually because they are not still not suitable to be here. Another interesting fact, Polar Bears do not hunt Penguins, cause they are in different sides of the worlds, the north and south pole. (But I can’t remember which belong to which)
Beautiful Snake

Another Beautiful snake
This fella is a Singapore snake.
Another shot of the fella
Green Snake. Venemous
Close and personal

I love this pic the most
I really love taking photographs of the reptiles cause they are really beautiful to take.
This turtle sure looks mean.
